The Entwicklung series, more commonly known as the E-series, was a late-World War II attempt by Germany to produce a standardized series of tank designs. There were to be standard designs in six different weight classes, from which several specialized variants were to be developed. This intended to reverse the trend of extremely complex tank designs that had resulted in poor production rates and mechanical unreliability.
The 1/6 scale version was initially developed by Loic of fieldofarmortanks.com and will be offered commercially to the public. Mitch and Paul Anderson developed the direct drive motor system (no chains) and all the mechanical/electrical assemblies.
The RC system is based on a Sony PS3 controller and reaches up to 50 yards. The gun features an elevation system but there is no left-right motion. The tank also features an active paint ball feeding system that allows for a 135 ball magazine. (Patent pending)
The tank is powered by two 250w DC motors and a 24V 10AH LIPO battery, and it weighs 65LBS.
