Although the Grizzly program proved a short-lived venture 1943-45, but it nonetheless offered Canadians a home- grown product and a taste of new-era armour design and production standards associated with them.
The Grizzly maintained its general Sherman appearance throughout, complete with its high profile and rounded armour edges .The Grizzly did differ from its M4A1 origins by having 17 toothed drive sprockets,and CDP- type tracks "CDP" Canadian Dry Pin tracks,thicker armour protection 2.95" of thickness |
